Activities Coordinator, Suzanne Meadows was successful at year’s Gloucestershire Care Providers Association (GCPA) awards, winning the Making a Difference for Dementia category.

Representing the activities team, Suzanne was recognised for the development of Wentworth Court’s dementia-friendly sensory garden, and ‘making a difference to people with dementia, showing a high-level of expertise and delivering real outcomes.’

Families like to spend time with their loved ones in the stunning garden, which is planted with flowers, herbs and vegetables Weather permitting, the garden is used daily, for relaxing and engaging in daily resident activities such as tending plants or collecting eggs laid by our chickens.
