We are very proud of our commitment to staff training at Wentworth Court, which we believe is among the best – if not the best – to be found in Gloucestershire.
Our Training Manager, Drew Emmett-Saunders, has secured £69,000 from the European Social Fund for skills training for all team members to increase their dementia understanding and knowledge. Delivered by Stratford upon Avon College, the course is approved by national awarding organisation, NCFE and runs over eight weeks.
Drew says: “The training at Wentworth Court offers our team of all ages and from all educational backgrounds the opportunity to enjoy further professional development. By investing in training, we empower our staff to acquire knowledge, and in turn deliver what they have learnt – ultimately ensuring we deliver high-quality care.”
