We were blown away to receive a cheque for £10,000 in memory of one of our residents.

James spent his last days at Wentworth Court and was happiest in the garden, helping to plant flowers and pick fruit, he loved the outdoors. Born and bred in Gloucester, James undertook an apprenticeship as a young man at Fielding and Platt. He spent most of his career working in engineering and applied his skills as a training officer, latterly working at Cirencester College.

The kind and generous family member said that she wanted to do something to say ‘thank you’ for the excellent care James received at Wentworth Court. We will ensure that the money is well-used in his memory to enrich the lives of our residents.
