Lynne was one of the first team members when Wentworth Court opened its doors in May 2015. Having worked in the care industry for 16 years, Lynne has brought significant experience to the role and is always happy to mentor and support team members who are at the start of their career.

Originally from Hartlepool, Lynne lived in Scotland before moving to Cheltenham.

“I love my job,” says Lynne. “I’m passionate about caring for others and no two days are the same, you learn something new every day.

“As a carer, you need to be passionate, caring and realise that the residents come first – if you are in a bad mood, they will pick up on it. So it’s important to focus on them, be happy, have a smiley face and understand how it is to be in their shoes.”

Lynne has been given a pair of tickets to the Everyman Theatre as a thank you from Wentworth Court.
